In the south-east of Mauritania, a group of woman refugees is waging the green fight in the Sahel. The Volontaires Réfugiés pour la Propreté du Camp (VRPC) association was established in February 2018 by Hamo Walet Mohamed Ali. Hamo aims to contribute to the overall sanitation of the camp and conducts activities in all public spaces: health facilities, community centers, distribution centers.
